Please read these terms before registering, paying, requesting an invitation letter or attending the conference.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By registering, purchasing a ticket, requesting a letter or attending, you agree to these terms. Provide complete and accurate information. If registering someone else, you must be authorized to submit their details and bring these terms and the Privacy Policy to their attention. Registration is personal and may require identity, professional or organization verification.
2. Registration and payment
Submitting a form or payment alone does not guarantee admission or a letter. Applicable prices are in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise; taxes and processing fees are identified where required. Participants bear bank, conversion, travel and government fees. A declined, reversed or disputed payment may invalidate a registration and associated documents. Tickets, badges and letters may not be copied, sold, transferred or altered.
3. Cancellation, changes and refunds
Completed purchases are final and registrations cannot be modified, cancelled, transferred or exchanged. Fees are non-refundable except where applicable law requires a refund. Visa refusal or delay, inability to attend, travel disruption, personal circumstances, border refusal and changes in programme or speakers do not create a refund entitlement.
4. International attendees and invitation letters
Attendees are responsible for their own travel authorization, accurate IRCC applications, fees, biometrics and entry requirements. The organizer does not act as an immigration representative. An invitation letter may be considered after registration, payment and satisfactory verification; issuance is discretionary. A letter does not guarantee a visa, expedited processing, border admission, financial sponsorship or a business outcome. The organizer may refuse or withdraw a letter for inaccurate, incomplete or unverifiable information or document misuse. See the full invitation-letter guidance.
5. Admission and conduct
Admission depends on valid registration, identification, capacity, security screening and venue rules. Participants must behave professionally, respect privacy, follow staff instructions and avoid harassment, discrimination, unsafe behavior and unauthorized solicitation. The organizer may refuse admission or remove a person for misconduct, fraud or breach of these terms.
6. Programme, changes and third parties
Speakers, sessions, meetings and participating organizations may change. Registration does not guarantee meetings with officials or investors, speaking opportunities, contracts, financing or commercial results. The organizer may change the programme, location, date or format when reasonably necessary and will communicate arrangements in accordance with applicable law. Participants bear their own travel, accommodation and other third-party costs.
7. Photography, privacy and intellectual property
Photography, video and audio recording may take place for event reporting, archives, security and promotion. Contact the organizer before the event for a reasonable photography accommodation; exclusion from incidental crowd images cannot be guaranteed. Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy. Event branding, programme and organizer-created materials may not be commercially reproduced without written permission.
8. Liability and events beyond control
Participants are responsible for their property, health, travel and business decisions. To the extent allowed by law, the organizer is not liable for indirect or consequential commercial losses arising from attendance, non-attendance, third-party conduct, programme changes or immigration outcomes. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be limited. Severe weather, government action, public-health restrictions, venue unavailability, transport failures and similar circumstances beyond reasonable control may disrupt the event.
9. Additional agreements and governing law
Separate written terms may apply to sponsors, speakers, exhibitors and delegations. Where a signed agreement conflicts with these general terms on a specific subject, the signed agreement governs that subject. These terms are governed by applicable laws of Ontario and Canada.
